The meeting will be held at the Marriott both days, and will begin at 9am and end at 5pm. Each day we will provide a continental breakfast from 8 -9:00am, and a working lunch. The Vera Institute of Justice will pay your hotel room and tax expenses for Tuesday, September 20th, Wednesday, September 21st and Thursday, September 22nd (three nights) and have made your room reservation. You are responsible for payment of any extra nights you decide to stay outside of the above dates. You are responsible for incidentals and charges for additional guests incurred during your stay. Reimbursement forms will be distributed at the meeting in San Jose. After you complete the reimbursement form and attach your receipts, please return it to the Vera Institute. The cut-off date to mail your reimbursement form is October 21st. The Vera Institute will not accept reimbursement requests that arrive a week or more after this date. Mileage, parking expenses, and airport transportation Parking expenses at your departure airport and transportation to and from the San Jose or San Francisco airport are reimbursable. Traveling to Hotel from San Jose Airport Taxi service is available at the airport and costs approximately $20 to get to the hotel. Shuttles are also available and can either be arranged over the telephone or can be found waiting in one of two areas: Terminal A - in the Ground Transportation Center located south of the Terminal Garage and Terminal C - outside, same side of street, just south of baggage claim. For accessible transportation to and from the airport, you can contact Super Shuttle or Yellow Checker Cab. To make shuttle transportation arrangements, please contact Super Shuttle at 800.258.3826 or at www.supershuttle.com. The round-trip fee is approximately $15. For the Yellow Checker Cab company, please call 408.298.1234, at least 24 hours in advance. Traveling to Hotel from San Francisco Airport Using Caltrain: Go to the E. Corner of SFO International Terminal South. Board the Samtrans Bus #292/San Mateo & Hillsdale—the fare will be $1.50. Get off at El Camino Real & Hillsdale Blvd. Go to the Caltrain Station - Hillsdale, El Camino Real & Hillsdale Blvd and board the Caltrain Southbound Line/San Jose. This fare will be $5.00.
