The Vera Institute of Justice's Center on Victimization and Safety hosts a monthly web conference series entitled, "Serving Survivors with Disabilities and Deaf Survivors: Guidance and Information for Advocates." The web conferences are open to anyone interested in ending violence against people with disabilities, and is designed to help build individual and organizational capacity to improve services for survivors with disabilities and Deaf survivors. Web conferences are offered free of charge. Topics include the Americans with Disabilities Act, mandatory reporting and confidentiality, requests for accommodations, American Sign Language interpreters, and many others.
