Our vision is that women with disabilities who are victims of violence will have access to the same standard of care that is available to other women who are victims of violence.
Our mission is to assist community entities to develop a collaborative response system to deliver services for women with disabilities who are victims of violence. We recognize that service delivery systems need to be altered to be accessible. By building the capacity of these communities, this partnership will create a collaborative response through technical assistance, training, and education. As a result of our work, many communities within Mississippi will replicate our approach in a way that will be beneficial to the community and to individuals with disabilities who experience violence.
