Power and Control Wheel for Women Who Use Substances

This Power and Control Wheel was designed for women who use substances.

The Power and Control Wheel for women who use substances is comprised of an outer wheel linked to an inner circle by eight wedge-shaped pieces. Each wedge is labeled with a different aspect of physical or sexual violence put upon a woman by her abuser: using emotional abuse; using physical abuse; using isolation; minimizing, denying, and blaming; using sexual abuse; encouraging drug dependence; using economic abuse; using threats and pyschological abuse.
