The original Power and Control Wheel was a project of the Duluth Model. Developed by a group of battered women in response to the violence they experienced at the hands of their male partners, the Wheel has since been used as an educational tool. In addition to this original wheel, various other wheels have been created to address power and control specific to other considerations.
