Improving Your Work Environment
In addition to your policies regarding individuals who come to you for support and assistance, it is important for organizations to have internal policies and procedures around issues of violence. It has become clear that issues of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking can and do affect people in their workplace. It is just as important to take care of providers in your organization—it makes good business sense and sets a good example.
