Step Three: Decide How You Will Collect the Information

Assuming that your collaboration has to collect new information to answer some or all of the questions poised in your needs assessment, the next step is to determine how you will collect the information. There are several methods that your collaboration can use to gather data for your needs assessment including surveys, key informant interviews, focus groups, and community forums. Your collaboration should select the combination of methods that best fit your situation.
