Justine Sullivan joined Vera in June 2005 as the program coordinator for the Accessing Safety Initiative. Before coming to Vera, Justine was a case manager and outreach counselor at Safe Horizon’s Streetwork Project for homeless and disenfranchised youth in New York City. She has spent time studying young women’s activism in The Netherlands and also spent time working with various feminist and queer organizations, across both The Netherlands and the United States. She graduated from Smith College with a bachelor's degree in Women’s Studies and Government, concentrating in Political and Social Movement.
