Jennifer Howard is a Program Associate with the Accessing Safety Initiative where she facilitates cross-site technical assistance for grantees. Jennifer joined Vera in 2008 as a Program Associate with the Sexual Violence Prevention Initiative, providing technical assistance to rape crisis centers in New Jersey. Prior to joining Vera, Jennifer coordinated service-learning programs for undergraduate students, and interned with the National Center for Victims of Crime and the Public Policy office of Girls Incorporated, where she conducted research on gender-based violence. Jennifer serves on the Board of Directors of a nonprofit, SAFER (Students Active for Ending Rape). Jennifer holds a Bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University, a Master's degree in Women's Studies with a concentration in Gender and Violence from George Washington University, and a Master's degree in Nonprofit Administration from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame.
