Roberta Sick

Roberta Sick is a consultant who is also employed by Partners for Inclusive Communities-UAMS, Arkansas University’s Center for Excellence on Disabilities.  She has been involved in a number of training efforts that address the critical issues of preventing violence in the lives of people with disabilities and providing access to services for victims of crime. This has included both training for professionals and information for persons with disabilities. Since 2002, Ms. Sick has been the director of Partners violence prevention and disabilities collaboration projects.  She also served for six years as the training coordinator for the Arkansas ADA Roundtable, the regional affiliate in Arkansas for the Southwest Disability and Business Technical Assistance Center. Her work experience includes coordinating a club house model program for persons with mental illness and as a mental health therapist primarily seeing children with autism spectrum disorders. Ms. Sick is a licensed professional counselor and a certified rehabilitation counselor.
