Karma Cottman is the Program Director for the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV), where she supervises two national technical assistance programs and a national grant initiative aimed at providing emergency assistance to domestic violence survivors. Ms. Cottman provides technical assistance and training to the state domestic violence coalitions and local transitional housing programs. She serves on several national committees and continues to spearhead efforts to support the leadership of women of color. Ms. Cottman has worked with several organizations to develop women of color leadership conferences and Institutes. She also works with numerous national domestic violence partners, corporate partners and federal agencies. Prior to joining the NNEDV Fund, Ms. Cottman worked with the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence where she assisted with the development of a community assessment tool used to identify service gaps in numerous local Florida communities. She conducted numerous diversity trainings, organized and facilitated meetings and provided technical assistance to local domestic violence shelters.
